Alize Francheska Rozsnyai

Alize Francheska Rozsnyai has received critical and professional accolades during her diverse, exciting and evolving performance career as a classical soprano. Alize's 2024 season engagements include her role debut as Frasquita in the Boheme Opera NJ production of Carmen and joining St. Petersburg Opera as an emerging artist covering the role of Morgana in Handel's Alcina. She will create multiple roles, including Minerva and Cookie, in Experiments in Opera's Five Ways to Die, in which she is involved from workshopping to its 2024 world premiere. She will also make her debut with Kaleidoscope Chamber Orchestra in Los Angles in repertoire by Schoenberg and Nina Shekhar.

A graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music, Alize is a sought-after interpreter of new music and atonal works, and a passionate collaborator working on her first full-length operas with composers Jane Kozhenikova and Tori Lavan. She is co-founder and artistic director of Alter Ego Chamber Opera based in Philadelphia, which strives to serve as a catalyst for positive change, performing brand new works and old works in new ways.
