Farrah Chu

Soprano Farrah Chu made her main stage debut with Boheme Opera NJ last March as Inez in Verdi’s Il Trovatore. In her youth, she performed at Carnegie Hall as a soprano in a madrigal ensemble and as a weekly guest on the teen talk show “Rap Around” with Ukee Washington. During college and law school, she studied voice, toured internationally with Duke Chorale, sang in co-ed a capella groups and performed with Duke Opera Theatre. As a young lawyer in NYC, Farrah performed at various concert venues and winner circle competitions. Now, after a 14-year hiatus, she is reigniting herpassion for vocal performance.
