Jacqueline Quirk
Soprano Jacqueline Quirk is internationally recognized as possessing a captivating full Spinto and is a celebrated interpreter of Verissmo Opera in the roles of Mimi (La Bohème) and Cio-Cio San (Madama Butterfly), Tosca, Nedda (I Pagliacci) and Suor Angelica, as well as stepping into the heavier Spinto roles of Santuzza (Cavalleria Rusticana), Aida and most recently Georgetta (Il Tabarro). She has performed for renowned companies such as Hawaii Opera Theatre, La Monnaie (BE), Annapolis Opera, Bangkok Symphony, Asheville Lyric Opera, St. Petersburg Opera, Mansfield Symphony, Avery Fisher Hall, Carnegie Hall, Symphony Space, NYC, The Kennedy Center, Opera Florham, Puccini Opera Co. of DC, Jacksonville Lyric Opera and First Coast Opera, among others. Jacqueline is thrilled to be the Soprano Soloist on a debut recording of Brahms “Zigeunerlieder,” as well as a return to Italy to sing Suor Angelica at the Comunale Teatro di Vincenza.
