William shea

William Shea is a double and electric bassist based in the Philadelphia area. He studies Music Education at Rowan University under Douglas Mapp and serves as Principal Bass of the Rowan Symphony Orchestra. William is Vice President and co-founder of Rowan’s ASTA chapter and winner of the Rowan String Ensemble Concerto Competition. He freelances with theater productions, jazz groups, and the Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey. William also maintains a private bass studio and believes music fosters personal growth. Outside of music, he enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with his dogs.
